My Bio
My name is Erin, and I'm a senior in high school. I love photography, but I'm only an ametuer. I also love writing, especially poetry and short stories. My dreams change every day, practically. If I had everything that I had wanted, then I would be an astronomer, pharmacist, photographer, writer who owns a cafe/bookstore, and god knows how many other things. Though I don't know what I want in life now, I'm figuring it out every day. "Follow your dreams, you can be anything you want." That's what I've heard my entire life and while I was skeptical at first, I'm starting to believe it. So every day I wake up smiling, and make the best of anything that comes my way. I'll tell you, life's a lot more fun that way.

I haven't had time to take pictures in what feels like forever. I moved from a three bedroom house to a six bedroom a few weeks ago, and my family still isn't finished with it yet. Thankfully all we have left is to paint/decorate my parent's and my rooms, and redo the stained concrete flooring. I may be getting a job as a stringer photographer for a local college (fingers crossed), so I should be getting back into the groove soon.

I'm diggin' black and white photography right now, though I'm not really that great at it. I'm going to be doing a conceptual photography assignment soon, not sure when. I need to start thinking of ideas now. Speaking of photography, I made it into photography II. I have no idea how. My pictures suck in comparison to my classmates'.

I borrowed Alexa for the day, and took a ton of pictures of her. I'm hoping that one of them will get me a best in show for my photography class. The assignment is black and white, and I'm playing around with it on picnik for now. I really need to buy Photoshop.
